  • Royal Spoonbill Royal Spoonbill Royal Spoonbill

These Royal Spoonbill were photographed on Hawksbury Lagoon, Waikouaiti. They preened and rested while I crawled through the mud and water towards them. Although they seemed unphased by my presence, they took flight when a black backed gull harassed them.
